EULAR 2010: 16.000 PARTICIPANTS FLY FROM THE HOTELS TO THE NEW ROME FAIR AND BY-PASS THE ROMAN TRAFFIC!

The Annual European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR), one of the international mega-congresses, has been held in Rome from 16 to 19 of June.Considering the well-known roman traffic and the distance between the conference venue and the 90 hotels involved, the logistics could have been a sort of mission impossible. Actually, it was a great success: the close cooperation between MCI Group (Eular Core PCO) Ovation Italy (its Italian branch) and AIM Group (in charge of local transportation and other services) was the key of a great performance. An impressive transportation plan involving 290 Dlx coaches and 190 staff every day has been implemented and successfully managed. An effective integration with the public transportation (e.g. an extra stop at the Fair of the Leonardo Express that connects the airport and the central station) and the good liaison with the local institutions have been other crucial factors. Now, after this exciting and successful experience, based on our reconfirmed know-how, Rome is ready to welcome other mega-events!
