SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION

Oral Communications
During the Abstract Sessions, selected papers will be orally presented by the Authors. Authors have been allocated 10 minutes each: 7 min. for the presentation of their paper which will be followed by 3 min. for discussion with the audience.

Poster Sessions
The Poster Session I and II will take place in the two galleries close to the Auditorium.
The  posters have been given a number and shall be fixed on the poster board marked with the same number.
Poster size must be cm. 90 (width) x cm. 150 (height)  and  the  format must be VERTICAL.

Postes Session I           8:00-9:00 on February 12               18:00-19:00 on February 12
Poster Session II           8:00-9:00 on February 13               18:00-19:00 on February 13

If the removal times are not observed the Secretariat will remove the posters by 19:00 hr. on February 12 and 13.
Authors are kindly asked to stand by their poster from 11.50 to 14.00 on February 12 and from 12.30 to 14.30on February 13 for possible questions by the Congress delegates. Otherwise, please hang a note to inform when you will be available.

Mentorship programme
This is a unique opportunity for students of scleroderma. Offered for both the mornings of Friday February 12 and Saturday February 13, participants will have breakfast with their assigned mentor andattend the entire morning sessions of lectures and abstract presentations.
Groups are limited to twopre-registeredparticipants per mentor only. Mentors include members of the World Congress Steering Committee and International Advisory Board. Areas for individualized discussion could include detailed critique from an experienced viewpoint of Session didactics, advice about how to establish a scleroderma clinical and/or research program, academic development and effective grantsmanship.

CME – Continuing Medical Education (for Italian Physicians only)
Italian Ministry of Health will give n. 14 CME credits to the participants that will successfully fill in and hand in their documentation to Registration desk. 

UEMS – European Union of Medical Specialists
UEMS credits will be applied for. They are valid across Europe, the United States and Canada (reciprocity agreement with the American Medical Association).

Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of attendance will be available on request, starting from February 13, at the Registration desk.

Slide center
The slide center is available next to the Auditorium. Speakers are requested to hand in their slides at least 3 hours before their presentation.

Mobile Phone Manners
As a courtesy to other attendees, please observe good mobile phone manners. When attending sessions, turn off your cell phones and other wireless communications devices or use the silent notifications options. If you must take a call, please step out of the room rather than disrupt the event. Thank you for your cooperation.
