Abstract Submission - Instructions

Abstracts should be submitted electronically no later than May 7, 2009 through the on line service.
Abstracts received by fax will not be considered: should you have any problems with the online submission, please contact the Organizing Secretariat AIM Group - AIM Congress (airett.2009@aimgroup.it).

The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register and attend the Congress.
Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the e-mail address stated under section "Personal details".
The corresponding author will receive within May 15th all the correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.
Works based on the scientific program are preferable, but every work about neurological or genetic theme would be accepted.

Upon submission, please indicate your preferred presentation form (oral or poster) and category that best describes the abstract:
- Basic research
- Ostheoporosis
- Clinical genetics
- Neurological aspects
- Mouse Models
- Miscellanea

The Scientific Committee can change the category from oral to poster and viceversa.

Abstracts must be written in English

The complete abstract must not exceed 2.500 characters including spaces (approx. 250 words)
All abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in the text, before being used as an abbreviation only.
Structured abstracts are mandatory. The abstracts should state clearly the Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Abstracts should be informative and not just promise further investigation.
Tables, charts or other graphics should not be included and may be deleted by the editors.
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted. Please carefully follow the instructions reported in the online pages and fill in all the requested fields, in order to guarantee a correct and complete publication of the text. Changes to abstracts can only be accepted until the
deadline May 7, 2009 and can be added in the text using the User ID and Password received upon submission.
Should the author wish to withdraw the abstract after the deadline, he will have to inform the Organizing Secretariat by email or fax.
