Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, 31 August 2005, hrs 18.30
The opening ceremony will be held in a historical location in Siena downtown. It will be followed by a Welcome Cocktail.

The following proposals of organised tours have been arranged exclusively for delegates and their accompanying persons. The address and definite time of departure will be confirmed 15 days prior to the tour.

Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to AISC & MGR.
Cancellation of tours will be accepted until 30 July 2005, up to which date the total amount will be refunded. For cancellations received after 30 July 2005 and up to two days before the start of the congress 50% of the expenses will be refunded.

ALL POSSIBLE REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE CONGRESS.

TOUR N° 1 (31 August - h. 15.00 - 19.00)
Guided Tour of Siena
An experienced guide will accompany you in a nice walking tour of Siena, through gardens and narrow alleys: the alternation of popular neighbourhoods and rich noble mansions, of towers and arcades, of elegant shops and craftman’s workshops will give you a picture of its history and its people.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken to the Medicean Fortress, where you will taste the wines of the famous Italian Wine Shop.
Cost per person: Euro 25,00 (VAT 20% included)
The fee includes: guided visit, wine tasting and hostess assistance.

TOUR N° 2 (1 September - h. 09.00 - 12.00)
History and Art in Siena
A view of the city history through its works of art: the Cathedral with its Museum and the Municipal Museum. An expert will explain some symbolic paintings such as The Maestà by Duccio di Buoninsegna, the Maestà by Simone Martini and the Allegory of Good Government by Ambrogio Lorenzetti.
Cost per person: Euro 35,00 (VAT 20% included)
The fee includes: entrance fees to the Cathedral, the Cathedral Museum and the
Municipal Museum, guide and hostess assistance.

TOUR N° 3 (1 September - h. 09.00 - 18.00)
Tour of the Chianti Region
One day dedicated to the discovery of wines and castles, in the Chianti hills.
Departure from Siena by bus: first stop in a farmhouse where a typical Tuscany lunch will be served. Then we will head to a renowned castle, for a visit of its rooms and tasting of the vintage wines produced in the surrounding vineyards.
Cost per person: Euro 80,00 (VAT 20% included)
The fee includes: bus transfer, guide, lunch, visit to the Castle, wine tasting and hostess assistance.

Tour n° 4 (2 September - h. 09.00 - 18.00)
The crystal of Colle Val d’Elsa and S. Gimignano
Departure from Siena by bus with an experienced guide, who will take you to the medieval town of Colle Val d’Elsa, famous for its production of fine handcrafted crystal.
We will visit the crystal museum and the famous glassworks. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to San Gimignano, a city of beautiful towers rich in history, art and culture, surrounded by the splendid Tuscany countryside. Free visit.
Cost per person: Euro 92,00 (VAT 20% included)
The fee includes: bus transfer, guide, lunch, entrance to the Crystal Museum, to the Glassworks, entrance ticket for San Gimignano and hostess assistance.
