The Conference will host several sessions for accepted abstracts and posters.
Submission instructions and template are available on-line at the conference site www.g8cardio.org/5ihh .
Abstract submission will open on the 1 st September 2003. Abstracts can only be submitted electronically.
NEW !! Submission Deadline is on the 17 May 2004 at 05:00 pm CET.
Upon receipt of acceptance Authors should confirm their participation to the conference within two weeks.

Marie Curie Grants
The Conference Organization has also applied to the European Commission for Participation Grants from the “Marie Curie” Human Resource and Mobility Actions for Large Conference within the 6 th Framework Program of the EC. A limited number of Participation Grants will be provided to those Young Investigators from Developing Countries and Less Favoured Regions, whose abstracts have been selected for either oral or poster presentation. Priority will be given to those participants with first authorship of an accepted abstract.
Further details will be available online if the Support from the EC will be granted.

THE “Andres Petrasovits” YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD
To honor the memory of Andres Petrasovits who dedicated his life to Heart Health and whose effort made several international initiatives possible, the Executive Committee of International Hearth Health Society decided to establish an Award to be assigned to investigators younger than 35 years old who can apply for evaluation.
The Award will be assigned in recognition of innovative and cost-effective research and/or initiatives in the field of heart health promotion.
The Award recipient will present his/her work during an official Ceremony during the Final Plenary Session of The 5th International Heart Health Conference on Wednesday June 16 th 2004 and receive a grant of 1000 EU to support further research activities.
